Most of what you see here is stuff that was already in the apartment when I got it - I've sold two large chairs and taken away lots and lots of stuff. My family can probably see just how big the change is, but lets just say that 16 large garbage bag of clothes and stuff went to charity along with 5 banana boxes, and 6 large garbage bags went to the dump. What does this mean? That the change is huge! I did get a few new things, like the bed (and other things that I can't really remember now, and there's a lot of my old stuff here to that I brought over from dad's. That would include books and a few decorative things like candle holders etc).

Kitchen as seen from hallway - lots of light! The curtains that are now in the living room were in the kitchen before (and lets not talk about the curtains that were in the living room... nice, sure, but absolutely not my style).

More of kitchen. Finally I got all the cookbooks I collected before going to the US out!

Dining spot in kitchen - love the table and the rug. I chose the picture years and years ago, and the wook pan I bought for myself way before I left for the US.

More kitchen. Mom made the framed piece (embroidery), plus another one that I didn't get on picture. Removed a lot of stuff from the counter tops and kept out what I like and think fit.

Small space between two closets in hallway - finally found a great way to fill up the space!

Bedroom as seen from hallway.

Same as above. I took a lot of stuff out of this room and completely re-arranged the furniture, and added curtains.

Closets in bedroom.

...more bedroom.

Hallway. Rearranged pictures and mirrors quite a bit out here, removed a bookcase etc (moved one into the living room and then put one in the walk-in-closet).

Coat and shoe rack... just what I would have chosen myself.

Hallway as seen from livingroom.

Walk-in-closet (door straight ahead on picture above). Sideboard for sale if anyone wants it - most of what you see on this pic went to charity yesterday, but not the dress - see if you can spot it on pictures below!

Living room. At first I didn't like the couches (although I helped pick them out years and years ago) but they're super comfy so they've definitely grown on me. And the ballet shoes are mine from way back when.

Living room and balcony - usually there's no bike out there but it's the best place for it until I get a new U-lock for it (old one had to be removed by saw since mom broke the key off in it when it was super-cold a few months ago). The shawl on the sofa is no longer there, but in case you were wondering I knit it. Oh, and these are the curtains that were in the kitchen before.

I'm very happy to say I was not the one to chose to have a TV in each room. I removed everything from the cabinets and put my stuff up instead, but its still a bit empty as you can see.

Green light by ottoman is going in the trash - it doesn't work (and yes, I checked the bulb - I've been asked that enough by now, thanks!) Rearranged this room completely, as well.

Tall bookshelf came from hallway.
